Organic isn't a marketing word to us. It's how we bake.
We use organic ingredients in everything we make, not because it's trendy, but because we believe it makes a real difference. Fewer synthetic pesticides. Better-quality butter and flour. Chocolate and cocoa sourced with more care. It's a decision we make every single time we place an ingredient order, not just when it's convenient.
We also believe organic shouldn't mean sacrificing flavor. That's the whole reason Baked Well exists: to prove that "good for you" and "genuinely delicious" aren't opposites. Every recipe went through real trial and error in our kitchen until it hit both marks.
Why eating organic matters, in plain terms
Organic farming means fewer synthetic pesticides and herbicides make it onto your food, and no artificial growth hormones or routine antibiotics in the animal products involved. It also tends to go hand-in-hand with better soil health and less chemical runoff into the water supply, a bigger-picture benefit, but a real one.
We won't tell you organic magically makes something more nutritious. The research on that is genuinely mixed, and we're not nutritionists. What we can say is that eating food with fewer synthetic additives, grown in ways that are easier on the land, is a reasonable thing to want for yourself and your family. That's the standard we hold our own ingredients to.
When you order from us, you're getting treats made with ingredients we'd feed our own family, because we do.
Every ingredient, organic: flour, butter, cane sugar, eggs, vanilla, chocolate, and cocoa. No exceptions, no substitutions.
